Squash star Rathika Seelan wins Bondi Open 2025

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Indian squash player Rathika Seelan defeated New Zealand’s Maiden-Lee Coe (11-7, 11-6, 11-7) in the final of the Bondi Open 2025 in Sydney on Friday, November 14. Seelan did not drop a single set in the final and overcame every challenge sent her way by her opponent, who was also the sixth seed in this tournament.

The 24-year-old was playing in her third Challenger final of the year, after having played one just earlier this week in the New South Wales Open. Seelan, who hails from Tamil Nadu, ended as the runner-up in the latter tournament, before coming here, entering as the top seed and winning it.
